Hello everyone! Hopefully if you’re reading this you’ve already made some amazing headway, and perhaps surprised yourself by just how much you can read in a short amount of time.
But, eventually your eyes are probably going to get tired from all the reading. And let’s face it, there’s only so much time that you can sit still!!! Which is why it’s sometimes nice to stop and take a break, switching over from reading to listening to the Bible. It’s slower, but occasionally you just need to do something besides read. That’s what I’m doing now.
So I went on a search for a good online audio Bible, trying to find something easy to navigate with someone reading faster than the slow voice most audio are in (Usually, slow might be just fine. But when you have to read as much as we are doing it doesn’t cut it.)
I stumbled upon one I haven’t seen in previous years, and so far I’m liking it. It’s http://www.davidpfield.com/audio-bible/AudioBible.htm. For one, it’s got a nice pace. Not one of those things you slowly fall asleep to. It is however, a version I haven’t heard much about: World English Bible. Does anyone know much about it?
The schedule at the very bottom of the link is kind of interesting, and if you have time (or want to procrastinate a bit) you might glance at it. It’s optimally spread over 2 months, listening for only an hour a day. It shows you how much more priority we all could put into the Word every day.
So tell me what you think of the link. Happy reading/listening everybody!
